Chair of the Social Justice Committee. I attended Villanova
University where I received my B.A. and M.A. in American history. I
have been teaching at SCJN for thirty-one of my thirty-three year
career. I have taught grades three, seven, and eight. I
enjoy spending time with my family: my husband Joe; my son Michael, his
wife B.G., and their sons Jackson and Holden; my daughter Elise; my
daughter Betty Jane, her husband Dan, and their two daughters Chelsea
and Madeleine; and my daughter Margaret, her husband Wes, and their
sons Wesley and Emerson. I spend my free time traveling
(especially to England every chance I get), reading historical fiction,
going to the theater and movies, watching Masterpiece Theater, and
listening to NPR and Frank Sinatra. I'm looking forward to
teaching sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade Social Studies this year
and also to having my afternoons free.
